Melanotan 2 is an innovative method for stimulating tanning and protecting against the harmful effects of UV radiation. It is a synthetic peptide analogue of the natural hormone melanocortin, which plays a key role in stimulating the production of melanin, the pigment responsible for skin color and UV protection. Melanotan 2 offers several attractive effects for people of different ages and genders, including increased sexual desire (libido), appetite suppression for weight loss, and more.

There are two types of this peptide: Melanotan 1 and Melanotan 2. Melanotan 1 is a gentler peptide with systemic effects and has been approved for use in Italy. It is advisable to start with a lower dose of 50-100 mcg to avoid side effects such as rapid heartbeat and skin redness.

One case of overdose involving a single 6 mg dose has been reported. Shortly after the injection, severe pain spread throughout the body. The patient experienced increased heart rate, elevated blood pressure, myoglobin release (indicating muscle damage), and kidney damage. It is recommended not to exceed a daily dose of 1 mg, and if heart-related or body-wide discomfort occurs, discontinue the drug immediately.

How to prepare a solution:

To prepare a solution for injection, use a syringe containing the diluent and inject it into the bottle containing the lyophilized powder. Tilt the bottle so that the needle touches the wall of the bottle, allowing the diluent to flow slowly (do not fill the bottle all at once). Gently stir the solution without shaking or shaking the bottle until the powder dissolves completely, resulting in a clear liquid. The solution is now ready for use.
